Lynn Carfora
Lynn Carfora (she, her) has held HR leadership roles in the sports, media, entertainment, technology, and hospitality sectors since 1998. Her experience includes talent strategy and recruitment, employee relations and culture, organizational development and performance, and compliance. During her career, Lynn has been responsible for talent acquisition including recruiting strategies, sourcing, evaluation, and selection for an employee base of 6,000 across corporate and multi-unit/event-driven businesses.
Prior to HR consulting, Lynn was the VP, HR at Madison Square Garden where she was tasked to lead a culture shift to provide strategic HR leadership while managing change throughout the organization. Lynn was a key architect in the massive reorganization and re-launch of the Media division, which included transformation of programming, marketing, sales, and digital businesses. She was also selected by the NY Knicks to customize a Player Development Program and identified new team physicians, wellness and training staff. Lynn was the creator of the “Employee Care Center” which provided health and wellness, career development, meal and employee assistance programs across multiple employee populations.
Lynn received a B.S. in Communication Arts from St. John’s University. She is an advisory board member for the Young Women’s Leadership Foundation and served as the first woman mentor for the NY Giants Football Rookie Player Development program.
